Mach1 Cratos
Slalom: electric or petrol
Slalom sport at its best.
The Cratos is our youth and slalom kart, built in Meimsheim, as an electric slalom kart or with a petrol engine. The chassis is the same, the club chooses the drive. Several hundred clubs in ACV, ADAC, AVD and DMV rely on our karts.

Cratos electric slalom kart
The electric Cratos at a glance
We developed the electric Cratos to take slalom sport to a new level: precise, efficient and environmentally friendly.
One kart for all classes
You set the power via app. Beginners (11 km/h), classes K1 to K5 and even super slalom (e-270) drive the same kart, with four driving levels as standard. That saves the club investment.
Less wear
No oil, no chain spray and no clutch. The integrated throttle/brake system also spares the brake pads.
Quiet and emission-free
No local CO2 emissions and much less noise. That makes permits easier, and events may even be possible in the middle of town.
Cheap to run
Electricity instead of petrol: an event with 90 starters and two karts needs about 20 kWh instead of about 20 litres of petrol. The purchase costs more than a petrol kart, but running costs are much lower.

Technology in detail
Cratos with petrol engine
The petrol Cratos at a glance
The proven slalom kart is developed continuously, also thanks to feedback from the clubs. We have kept many components for years so that spare parts supply stays simple.
Drive
We only fit original Honda engines and spare parts. The sport exhaust with integrated silencer and catalytic converter is standard.
Seat and steering
The seat adjustment has a low centre of gravity, more adjustment range and more distance to the steering wheel, with a smooth lever mechanism. Angled steering wheel hub and flat-style steering wheel are standard.
Brake
Internally ventilated turbo brake disc with perfectly matched long-life brake pads, standard.
Equipment
New rear axle cover made of sturdy aluminium sheet, sticker set as standard (not fitted). The Tris rear impact protection for circuit use is available as an option.

Frequently asked questions
Which kart slalom classes is the electric Cratos suitable for?
For beginners and taster sessions (11 km/h), for classes K1 to K5 (e-200 '25 and e-200 '26) and for super slalom (e-270, equivalent to GX-270). You set the power via app, so everyone drives the same kart.
Which driving levels does the electric Cratos have as standard?
Four: 11 km/h for beginners and taster sessions, e-200 '25 (powerful for K1 to K5), e-200 '26 (adapted and moderate for K1 to K5) and e-270 (equivalent to GX-270 super slalom). Authorised staff select the level via app.
How big is the battery, how long does an electric Cratos run per charge and how long does charging take?
One battery pack consists of 2 batteries and has a capacity of 4 kWh. With one charger per battery, charging takes about 4 hours. In e-200 mode the kart runs for about 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on the course.
How many karts and batteries do I need for an event with 90 starters?
Two karts are always used alternately per event. To run non-stop, we recommend 2 spare battery packs (4 batteries) per kart.
How do running costs of an electric Cratos compare to the petrol version?
The purchase costs more than the petrol version, but running costs are much lower. Example: an event with 90 starters and two karts needs about 20 kWh of electricity instead of about 20 litres of petrol. Oil and chain spray are no longer needed.
How does the app work, and who can change the power levels?
The app runs in any browser (Chrome, Edge, Bluefy on iPhone) and is therefore independent of the operating system. Only authorised staff can change the power levels, protected by password. Everyone else sees diagnostic data, the charge level and more.
Which safety features does the electric Cratos have?
An emergency stop and, optionally, a radio cut-off.
Can I convert a petrol Cratos to electric?
Yes, that is easily possible, also with older Mach1 karts. The conversion kit is available in the Kart24 shop.
How do I get software updates for the electric Cratos?
During service at our factory. In future, authorised service partners are also to install the updates.
Which driver sizes and ages is the electric Cratos suitable for?
From about 120 cm height (about 5 years) up to 210 cm and a maximum weight of 95 kg.
How long is the delivery time for a Cratos?
Usually 4 to 6 weeks.
How low-maintenance is the electric Cratos?
There is no oil, chain spray or clutch to maintain. The integrated throttle/brake system also spares the brake pads.
How quiet is the electric Cratos, and what does that mean for permits?
It produces no local CO2 emissions and much less noise. That makes permits easier, and events may even be possible in the middle of town on public squares.
Which engine is fitted in the petrol Cratos?
A Honda GX200 (slalom) or GX270 (super slalom), as you prefer. We only fit original Honda engines and spare parts. Standard equipment includes a sport exhaust with integrated silencer and catalytic converter, an internally ventilated turbo brake disc with long-life brake pads, an angled steering wheel hub with flat-style steering wheel and a sticker set (not fitted).
Which classes is the petrol Cratos suitable for?
For all classes K1 to K5/K6 and super slalom. A radio cut-off is optionally available.
Which service intervals apply to the petrol Cratos?
Service once a year, plus a regular inspection before every start.
Which tyres do you recommend for the Cratos?
We explicitly recommend BEBA tyres. BEBA is our partner.
How does maintenance at a fixed price work?
If you have your Cratos serviced regularly at our factory, you get the service at a fixed price. We are happy to tell you the terms, just write to us via the contact page.
What warranty and service are included?
