The Ares is our uncompromising professional chassis for national and international Mini classes (CIK Mini, 950 mm wheelbase). It arrives to a high standard of pre-assembly, with a bled Hetschel-HRP brake and magnesium wheels.

Brake
The Hetschel-HRP EvoX-M mini brake comes filled and bled from the factory and is ready to use straight away. It is easy to modulate, which especially helps younger drivers build confidence in braking.
Quick to set up
With the integrated Sniper Adjusters you set camber and caster quickly and precisely. The Mach1 M6 steering wheel (ø 320 mm, flat bottom) and HRP wheel stars complete the package.
Magnesium wheels
HRP magnesium wheels 115/140, the standard in the mini classes. They reduce rotating mass and help with tyre management. You can fit the tyres the regulations require.
Pre-assembled
The chassis arrives pre-assembled with seat and exhaust holder. That saves team managers and mechanic dads time during setup.

Which classes and engines is the Ares built for?
For national and international Mini classes (CIK Mini, 950 mm wheelbase). The chassis fits CIK Mini, Rotax Micro Mini and the electric Rotax e10.
From which age and up to which size does the Ares fit?
According to the regulations, children from 8 to 12 years drive in the mini classes. Starting from about 5 to 6 years is possible.
How does the Ares differ from the larger racing karts such as the Zelos Junior?
In wheelbase and homologation.
How is the Rotax e10 installed?
Installation is done by the organiser (RMC Germany) or a contract dealer.
How long is the delivery time for an Ares?
Usually 2 to 3 weeks.
Can I buy the engine for the Ares from you?
Yes, you can buy the range of Rotax engines from us, as we are an official Rotax service partner. Which engine is allowed is set by the regulations of the series.
Do I have to bleed the brake before the first use?
No. The Hetschel-HRP EvoX-M mini brake is delivered filled and bled from the factory and is ready to use straight away.
Which service intervals apply to brake and bearings?
Your contract dealer or your team decides that. For racing vehicles, responsibility for inspection lies with the driver and the team.
Which tyres fit the wheels?
The supplied HRP magnesium wheels 115/140 are the standard in the mini classes. You fit the tyres the regulations require. Tyres are not included.
Is an engine mount included?
No. You order the engine mount matching your engine separately. Tyres, engine, exhaust, engine accessories (airbox) and telemetry, for example MyChron, are not included either. The chassis arrives pre-assembled with seat and exhaust holder.
Which seats are available?
Jecko seats in various sizes, selectable as Silver, White Soft, K-Model White Soft and K-Model Silver. When ordering in the shop you state the seat and any deviations in the bodywork parts in the comment field.
